Greetings! Our department has so much to offer, and we are excited to meet and greet you as this school year begins!
Sixth graders can look forward to nine weeks each of four different languages this year! We now offer the Exploratory Language course with Chinese, French, German and Spanish to incoming sixth graders. This is such a great opportunity for students to get inspired, and take a high school credit World Language course during their 7th and 8th grade years. Not only will students gain a high school credit, but those who receive a cumulative 3.5 or better throughout three semesters are eligible to join the National Honor Society for their language of study!
Seventh and eighth graders are pursuing great communication skills in Chinese, French, German or Spanish this year, and their teachers are excited to begin! Some seventh and eighth graders have chosen to study a variety of languages in the 7th/8th Grade Exploratory Languages course.
The World Languages Department will post good news on this page, so check back soon!
Wishing you the best this fall!
