Phantastic 4 Wish Lists

Our supply budget has been spent, teacher needs has long past, and yet, around this time of year we always find ourselves in need of a few supplies to keep us going. If there are any school supply fairies out there, here is our wish list, by teacher. Please feel free to deliver right to the teacher, or in cases like the Kleenex, you can deliver to Ms. Torres's room and she will evenly distribute the supplies.

Ms. Fedor: Kleenex!
Ms. Spencer: Kleenex!
Ms. Owens: Kleenex!
Ms. Torres: Dry Erase Markers
Ms. Humberson: lined notebook paper, masking tape, dry erase markers, printer paper

Important Grade Information

Parents,
As grades begin going home this week, you may find that your child didn't do as well as you expected. Please make sure you are checking parent connect weekly for grade updates and typepad for due dates and homework. This will help you and your child stay on top of missing assignments and make sure they get turned in within 3 class meeting times. Also, please remember that if your child fails an assessment for Mr. Gaffney, Ms. Mauldin, or Ms. Torres that they have 3 class meeting days in which to attend tutoring to do test corrections for up to a 70. In Ms. Fedor's class you have 5 class meeting days to come in and do test corrections for up to a 70. We want to help your child succeed by taking late work and allowing test corrections, but it is up to the student to come in and get the work done. As a reminder our official tutoring times by teacher are listed below.

Welcome 8th Graders!

We're already two weeks into the year, and as I am sure all the students know - everything has been PHANTASTIC! We are so excited to have all of you on our team and are looking forward to a great year of challenges, laughs, and lots of learning.
