Just For Fun...Where's Weenie?
Weenie is the little stuffed dachshund toy that sits on my desk. He's been all around the United States and has visited some cool historical sites! We're going to play a game to see if you can figure out where Weenie is. You can ask questions and I'll answer them. Extra credit goes to people who figure out where he is before I close the questions. Ask your questions by using the comment link in this post. Remember to sign your screen name to your question.
Your first hint is that Weenie is somewhere that's been mentioned in class fairly recently. Ask questions. The only rule is that you can't just guess where he is until you've asked some questions like, "Is Weenie somewhere related to Colonial times?" or "Is Weenie somewhere they wrote an important document?"
UPDATE: Wow!! 16 people have found Weenie!!! Remember, I won't post who is right and I won't answer all of the questions. There have been a lot of really good questions asked already. I WILL BE CLOSING THIS ROUND OF WHERE'S WEENIE on FRIDAY at 3:45!

I think that George Washington was a good leader.He had his own ideas and was an independent thinker.I think that he was one of the best presidents that we've had because when you're an independant thinker you don't depend on other peoples ideas, as much as you care and, trust your own.Although I also think that he was also good at taking criticism and good at woking as a team with other people as well.shroomy1

I had recently asked if he was at/near Chesapeake Bay. And you said, yes. So, was this actually the correct answer? or is he just near here?
Weenie is on a tributary (actually a big river that flows into it) of the Chesapeake Bay....so I guess you could say that he is technically near it. Let's say he's somewhere in the Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia You are getting closer!
