On Monday, November 14, Mercury students will receive a Mercury Stamp Card. Throughout this six weeks, students can receive stamps from any and all Murchison staff, but particularly Mercury teachers. The stamps are for outstanding behavior and/or outstanding academic efforts. When students accummulate 14 stamps, they may put their stamp card in a box in English for an end-of-six weeks raffle. Students may get a new stamp card if the original is lost, but any previously gained stamps will not be reissued. We will be issuing a new stamp card and conducting a raffle each grading period.

We are still in need of facial tissue. Send it with your child to English, and it will be divided amongst the Mercury teachers.
Please go through your child's backpack each week and help him/her keep his/her backpack and binder organized. Take out stuff that he/she is not using. Your sixth-grader still needs you to help with organizing for school.
