Monday 9/19:Today we took a short Quiz and discussed the Pledge Plan vs. the Walking Rate.  Students received an assignment for tonight and  keep in mind what was discussed inclass.  The students are to consider what makes some of the graphs that they were doing proportional and some non-proportional.  Remember what a proportion is and how it fits or not in this situation.

Thursday/Friday:Students are given the majority of the class period to work on the review for the Six Week Test which will be given on Monday 9/26/11. The review is out of the textbook:

Page 132 # 1-20; page 146 #9-20 (do not need to find the equation for 9-13); page 292 #1-8 and 16-20; page 308 #1-7, 8,11,14,17,18

An answer key will be posted on Friday 9/23 or you can come in after school.

Week of 9/5/11 - 9/9/11

I apologize for not being up to date on my typepad.  I had to leave town unexpectantly. Typepad will usually be updated once a week. 

This week:  Here is a copy of the Table of Contents (TOC) that each student will get that outlines the entire week:  Download TOC_2010_2011_week_1.3

Daily Notes:

Tuesday/Wednesday:  All students were given a course syllabus today/tomorrow that they are to bring home to go over with parent(s).  It is to be signed and returned to me. Here is a copy of the Course Syllabus - Download Course information 2011.   This is the information that would have been given at Back to School Night.   Students will also receive the 2 consumable workbook (Practice Workbook and Lab Manual)  These books will remain in the classroom and I will be going over how they will be able to access both the textbook and consummable books on-line. The assignment for Tuesday/Wednesday has been changed to Practice Workbook p. 44 (it says handout on your TOC).

Thursday/Friday: The assignment for B days is out of the Textbook: p. 300 #2-8 (even only) and p. 304 #2-8 (even only).  Please take note that the problems reference an example in the beginning of that lesson so that you can look to refresh on how to do the problem
